Help page
At the moment we only have 4 pages available for public viewing, namely the intro, help, contact us and links pages. You will also have noticed that none of these contain any details about the people and places you would expect in any family history project. But don't worry, there are far more pages available to you once you enter the website proper, although you will need to login to enter.
As I stated on the intro page, much of the information held on this website is freely available in the public archives - if you have the time to look. However because some of the material contains personal accounts and photographs we have decided to restrict access, and protect the website from general public viewing. Please contact me for a login if you need one. Once logged in, you will be able to search and view everything we have been able to put into the database, including photographs, and also offer your own contributions for future inclusion if you wish.
To login simply go to the main intro page and click on the enter button towards the bottom of the page. This will open a login dialogue box into which you enter the username and password we have given you. Once you click OK you will be taken to the main menu of the site, where you can begin exploring the past. If you experience any problems with this process please drop me an email, and I'll sort it out as soon as possible.
If you have lost your login information let me know - I keep a backup copy of all the usernames and passwords issued, so I can drop you an email with the login details you are missing. Enjoy the site.
